The dynamics of the shocking event of Klodjan Radha, 25-year-old who was shot dead by police officer, Nevaldo Hajdaraj, was unclear, but recently other details have been made public.
According to the Prosecution file, provided by ABC News, security cameras witnessed a physical clash between the deceased and the police officer, after which the latter pulled out his weapon and shot him.
"According to the prosecution, during the physical clash, Hajdaraj had the opportunity to see that Rasha did not have a weapon with him, however he pulled out his service pistol and shot at him," reports ABC News.
Hajdaraj's colleague, present at the scene, also mentioned the physical clash in his testimony.
The shocking event of December 2020 sparked violent protests mainly in the capital. Immediately after the case, the Internal Affairs and Complaints Service (CIA) stated that we were dealing with "exceeding the necessary protection", which was later disputed by other experts, who pointed out that the case is "murder with intentionally ”.
"I do not wish what happened to me to anyone. Take whatever measure you want, " Hajdaraj said after being sentenced to prison in December.
